Ten Eleven is a global venture capital firm leading cybersecurity innovation. Their goal was to host an exclusive, white-glove retreat to connect founders, CEOs, CISOs, and key influencers, positioning Ten Eleven as a global thought leader at the forefront of the cybersecurity industry.
To achieve this, Ten Eleven partnered with Happily for complete experiential design and logistical operations. Happily activated our Experiential, Strategy, Creative, and Web Studios to craft a tailored, high-impact retreat experience that would resonate with their target audience.
This exclusive Santa Fe retreat was crafted to spark moments of discovery, culminating in a private tour of the earth/star sculpture, Star Axis.
Santa Fe, nestled in the Sangre de Cristo foothills, is famed for its Pueblo-style architecture and vibrant arts scene.
Happily proposed Santa Fe, New Mexico, as the perfect destination for their retreat, crafting an agenda centered on a one-of-a-kind private tour of Star Axis, an earth/star sculpture tucked away in the New Mexico desert. This exclusive experience, closed to the public and little known beyond its hidden locale, provided Ten Eleven a rare opportunity to offer their guests a shared adventure and sense of discovery.
Working from a carefully planned timeline, Happily managed an end-to-end production of the retreat, from initial proposal to operations. Our teams developed a custom event microsite, curated engaging activities, managed an accommodation buy-out, coordinated door-to-door transportation, delivered custom graphic visuals, and provided on-demand travel concierge support.

On Day 1 in the afternoon, the retreat began as guests arrived at the Inn of the Anasazi, where they checked in and gathered in the Library to enjoy drinks and snacks. Later, a fireside chat with Dr. George Friedman, followed by a welcome dinner at the Anasazi Restaurant, Bar & Lounge, a culinary celebration inspired by Santa Fe's rich cultural heritage, and the night concluded with late-night drinks and music.
Exclusively reserved for Star Retreat guests, the five-star Rosewood Inn of Anasazi blends Southwestern charm with modern elegance in downtown Santa Fe.
On Day 2, the day started with breakfast at the Anasazi, setting the stage for a series of sessions across the hotel. Lunch was served at Santacafé, a historic 1857 building once home to Padre Gallegos, before a guided Walk'n'Talk led guests through Santa Fe’s iconic plaza and centuries-old residential neighborhood. In the late afternoon, a private sunset tour led by the artist Charles Ross of Star Axis, a rarely accessible 50-year-old monument, delivered a mesmerizing experience complete with a surprise performance by local folk artists, and concluded with a onsite dinner atop the mesa.
On Day 3, the retreat concluded with a breakfast buffet. Guests were provided with airport transfers, while those with extra time had the option to enjoy additional local activities arranged by our Happily Travel Concierge.
Star Axis is an earthwork built by American sculptor Charles Ross to observe the stars, and is considered to be a defining example of land art.
