Amwell’s Mid-Year in Miami Conference

Amwell’s Mid-Year in Miami was hosted at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, which served as the conference venue and guest accommodation.

An Executive Producer from our Happily Strategy Team, co-created the experience with the Amwell Team, and guided all the components of the project. While from the Happily Experiential Team a Producer / Show Caller, along with an Associate Producer, and Production Assistants, oversaw the entire production and ensured all the components of the event ran smoothly and according to plan. A Happily Talent Wrangler attended to the presenters and ensured that they were ready before going on stage.

From the Happily Broadcast Team, a Director of Photography was responsible for the extensive camera and lighting equipment, and supervising the camera and lighting crew, alongside a Camera Operator and Lighting Designer. We partnered with the local team of Maxon Productions for all audio visual needs.

From the Happily Creative Team a Set Designer crafted the overall look and details of the main stage used for all presentations and forums. A Videographer and Still Photographer captured all the energy in the room and the various moments throughout the conference for continued use by Amwell. Headshot Photographers were also set up in the lobby area to capture professional portraits of each employee, while a Happily Scriptwriter wrote, edited or polished various opening speeches.

As a closing celebration for the conference, Happily threw an amazing reception party. The space was completely transformed and paid homage to the host city with a ‘Miami Vice’ experience. Wonderfully 80s retro details decorated the entrance lobby and main dining area, providing fun and novel spaces for attendees to relax, socialize and connect. There was a DJ to keep the party going, as well as plenty of delicious food and drinks for all.
