# The Story

In honor of Black History Month, TikTok held their first-ever Make Black History Summit in LA in Feb 2020. Black TikTok content creators from all over the US gathered for 3 days of community building, inspiring experiences, learning workshops, and a whole lot of fun.

The event was produced by BMF, who partnered with Happily to craft the travel and registration experience of the selected 150 attendees. Happily built a customized registration management system and microsite, as well as orchestrated all the travel bookings, accommodation, transportation, and communication for these young, tech-savvy creators.

# The Impact

TikTok rewarded their top influencers and strengthened the connection of this creator community to the platform. TikTok curated opportunities for these creators to feel empowered with resources to build their own personal brands, drive views, and increase the social relevance of the platform to this generation.

By crafting a highly personalized experience for these creators, TikTok ensured that the loyalty and dedication of these consumers would remain and grow.

# The Team

Happily brought together the best of human talent and smart software solutions to deliver a custom registration system and personalized concierge service with only a 3 week runway. 

Our Web Team built a registration microsite designed to meet the event's creative as well as the complex requirements of data collecting to curate a highly customized experience for attendees.

An all-Black Happily Experiential Team provided full travel concierge support with the information collected from the microsite to book air and ground transport, as well as hotel rooms for the 150 registered creators.
