The Challenge

A leading provider of secure crypto wallets, Ledger set its sights on breaking into the APAC market with a limited edition product launch in Taipei. The event was designed to build brand credibility, generate buzz, and drive product sales among tech-savvy blockchain enthusiasts, the core audience for Ledger’s products.

To make this happen Ledger teamed up with Happily, tapping into our local expertise to bridge any cultural or language gaps, while also drawing on Happily’s knowledge and experience in the blockchain and deep tech industry. With a tight four‑week runway, the Ledger team activated the force of Happily’s global Broadcast, Strategy, Creative and Experiential Studios, bringing us in as the comprehensive production partner for this product launch and experience.

The local team who was in charged on the date of the event led by Ivy was as good as it gets, Ivy made me feel comfortable throughout the entire day with professionalism and attention to details, she is the best event planner, a great assistant, and now a great friend of mine, she gets a nod for every future events I plan to be hosting in the city of Taipei!

The Solution

Blockchain influencer Derek Lee was the centerpiece of the product launch, a collaboration coordinated by the Ledger team. The launch was designed as an interactive VIP fan experience for his dedicated community in Taipei and served as a targeted endorsement for the Ledger brand, tapping into Derek’s highly engaged blockchain community.

The venue, ARK TPE, was transformed into an interactive stage and multifunctional space, with every corner optimized to accommodate Derek Lee and 3,000+ registered guests. The program featured an unscripted Q&A session with Derek, a Ledger Popup Shop, and a VIP Meet'n'Greet session with the influencer, all managed by our onsite Happily Event Producer and crew who ensured all the details were taken care of, and any complications anticipated.

The Happily Creative team developed a cohesive event brand identity using custom stage visuals, vinyl wraps, lollipop wayfinding signage, and supporting collateral that unified the venue and established the space as a dedicated stage for Ledger and Derek Lee.

Focusing on precise logistical management, crowd control, and onsite broadcast production, Happily owned every aspect of the operational and attendee experience. Our Happily crew efficiently managed guest registrations, including a VIP line, and maintained orderly flow through extensive queues. The Happily Broadcast team handled the complete tech and stage setup, ensuring the Q&A was clearly streamed on screens throughout the venue and on the street, while our Happily Experiential team coordinated and kept the VIP Meet'n'Greet forward and so every fan had the chance to interact and take a photo with Derek, without any being turned away.

The Results

All 3,000+ registered guests at Ledger's Crypto Wallet Launch remained fully engaged throughout the day. This solidified the brand's foothold in the APAC market and showcased the transformative power of a well-orchestrated, fan-centric experience, and setting a strong example of a successful experiential product launch.
