Replit AI offers a suite of tools that embody the transformative power of artificial intelligence in software development. With an ambitious vision, Replit AI unveiled Developer Day 2024, a hybrid event hosted at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco.
The event aimed to showcase Replit AI's potential to reshape software development, streamline workflows, and unite the global developer community. It was an onsite gathering of 100 of Replit's team members, influential community figures, investors, and media, all converging to dive into the company's strategic vision, notable achievements, and expansive growth plans. The event's centerpiece was the celebration of the Replit developer community and the introduction of the 'Replit Teams' platform, designed to spark interest and anticipation for the new product.
To producing this important event, Replit AI partnered with Happily, activating our Broadcast, Creative, and Experiential Studios, ensuring an immersive and engaging experience for Replit’s community and stakeholders.
The Solution
Happily Experiential Studio
A dedicated team from Happily, including an Event Producer, Associate Producer, Production Assistants, and an Activation Lead, collaborated closely with the Replit team to align every detail of Developer Day with their brand vision.
Team Happily managed all aspects of the event's logistics, from seamless registration to top-notch hospitality, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. This comprehensive effort included providing appetizers, drinks, and meals for the crew, as well as securing a premium venue at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center.
Happily Creative Studio
Under the leadership of a Happily Creative Director, our Creative Studio transformed the Replit Developer Day into a visually captivating and engaging experience. Team Happily’s attention to the scenic, stage, graphic, and motion design created a fully branded and cohesive atmosphere that encouraged participation and interaction, whether in-person or virtually.
To enhance Replit's brand presence, the Creative Team developed a broadcast graphics package, wayfinding signage, and branded decals. They also assembled 80 program and media kits, filled with branded pins and an assortment of standard and premium gifts, personalizing the attendee experience.

Happily Broadcast Studio
The Happily Broadcast Studio team, comprising a Broadcast Director, Showrunner, Backstage Manager, and Installation Supervisor, skillfully managed the live broadcast and onstage activities, connecting Developer Day with a live international audience of over 400 viewers. Utilizing a two-camera setup, our professional photographers and videographers captured the essence of the event, while seamlessly integrating videos and graphics into the livestream to enhance the viewing experience.
Further enriched by virtual pre-recordings and video production management, the coverage was elevated by the team's rigorous attention to technical details, including sound, lighting, and Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring a high-quality broadcast throughout.

The Results
Developer Day 2024 marked a resounding success, drawing an exclusive assembly of 100 guests, including Replit’s team, community leaders, customers, and the press. The event captivated a wide audience, with 1.8k viewers joining the live broadcast and watching on demand, reflecting its significance as a leading platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and community engagement in the software development and AI domains.
The collaboration between Happily and Replit AI for Developer Day 2024 not only achieved but surpassed its ambitious goals.
